Descriptionn n n BRIEF DESCRIPTION The Project Director is responsible for managing and closing new business opportunities through leads & referrals generated by personal business development and marketing activities. The Project Director works closely with owners & managers of commercial, industrial, government, and residential properties damaged by man-made or natural disasters to develop cost estimates for restoration, renovation, environmental, and roofing services. Exactimate experience is a must. This is a highly compensated position with commission potential. Base Salary Range is $85,000 to $105,000Commission OTE starts at ($25k-$75k) PotentiallyVehicle Allowancen ACCOUNTABILITIES nnnSales nnnWhale Sales nnnnnProfit Margins nnnBusiness Development Activity nnnEstimating Proficiency nnnCustomer Satisfaction nnn PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES n Sales nnnMeet or exceed sales and profitability goals nnnNegotiate and execute contracts on behalf of the company nnnAchieve profit margins in line with company goals nnn Estimating nnnGenerate, manage and close sales leads generated from company and personal referral sources nnnInspect, and determine the appropriate scope of repairs nnnGenerate and present complete and professional estimates nnnPrepare estimates promptly and accurately nnnComplete estimates $10,000 within nine business days nnnTrain and assist others on the team as needed nnn Marketing & Business Development nnnMarket BluSky to new customers nnnTarget major account, large loss executives, and facility/property management executives via weekly sales and business development activity nnnnnLead the participation in industry functions, such as trade shows nnnAttend industry-related functions for marketing purposes nnnDocument and track all prospect and client data in BluSky s CRM system nnnFoster close working relationships with subcontractors and vendor partners nnnAchieve 10 business development connections per week nnn Project Coordination nnnProvide all project information to Project Manager and Project Accountant including budget, completion date, and all other relevant information nnnEnsure production team understands scope, budget and schedule nnnObtain and submit subcontractor bids as needed nnnWrite subcontractor agreements and be able to show a justified job cost prior to transitioning the project to a Project Manager nnnnnObtain all signed change orders for all changes to the project, as required nnnAct as a positive liaison between BluSky, the customer, and Project Manager. Check in with all clients weekly once the project has been assigned to a Project Manager nnnEnsure weekly communication commitments are kept nnn GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES nnAccounts Receivable nnnnCollect 20% down payment or deductible as required nnnAchieve training goals and minimum attendance guidelines as established by BluSky nnnAdhere to all company Best Practices nnnProvide the highest level of customer services at all times (96%) nnnAdd to a positive corporate culture nnnnAll other duties or projects as assigned nn QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTSnnnBachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management or related field preferred nnn5
years recent marketing/business development and sales experience in the restoration industry with a proven track record of sales growth nnnExtensive large loss and catastrophe experience nnnnnMust be able to attend Business Development networking functions 2-3 evenings a week nnnMust be able to travel in response to both emergency and non-emergency losses across the nation nnnIntermediate level Microsoft Office skills nnnExperience utilizing Xactimate software preferred nnnExperience with social media platforms such as LinkedIn preferred nnn WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL JOB DEMANDSThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
